I thrive with art
![]() My name is Jeanette Rodriguez, I am an Alcohol Ink painter and teacher.
in my journey as an artist, I have tried several painting mediums. From airbrushing to acrylics, oils and watercolors. When it comes to painting with alcohol inks on yupo paper, I have found my Niche. Not only because of the intensity of the colors but the endless ways I can create. A friend once said to me, "your paintings are beautiful; They would make lovely patterns for dresses!" Years later her words inspired me to look into that idea. When the gallery I helped run closed it's doors; I had more time to explore the possibilities. I partnered with a printing company that made my dream come true. my First dress called spirit of the land; a painting that poured out of me when I was going through A hard time in my life. Art and nature kept me at peace. Click here to meet the beautiful Kayla Marie Guilfoyle wearing the dress that inspired the Thrive on, in color collection. I often get asked... What is Alcohol Inks?
